Make St. Michaels your springtime destination. With flowers in bloom and the shops along the famed Talbot Street in full swing, Spring is one of the best times to come visit St. Michaels. There are many small streets to explore, a small dog park near the waterfront, and of course the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Come enjoy spending time outside biking through town, playing a round of golf or relaxing bayside. There are also a couple must sees this time of year. Don’t miss out on the springtime fun!
Winefest at St. Michaels, April 27 & 28, is typically the kick-off of the season and one of the most popular events in St. Michaels. Held throughout town from 12-6pm, many businesses will offer wine tastings, great food, retail specials, and much more. There is an assortment of wines, one for every palate, coupled with activities and exhibits. New this year, JazzFest meets WineFest for a weekend of tunes and tastings. Featured artist include: The United Jazz Ensemble, Joanna Pascale and the FAB Trio, MARS 4tet, and Juanita Williams with the Fred Hughes Trio.
The FRESHFARM Market also comes back to St. Michaels on April 20, just one block from Talbot Street at Willow and Green Streets. The market is available to visit every Saturday and features and array of local produce, meats, breads, pastries, potted plants and more. Come check out the Chef at Market demos and support local farmers.
