On your way to visit us, you'll drive through historic St. Michaels. Before returning home, learn how this town ‘Fooled the British’ during colonial times. Exploring the local bistros, galleries, and antique shops are all part of your Harbourtowne experience. It's not to be missed.

From Harbourtowne, St. Michaels is just minutes away. Rent a bike and cycle to town or hop in the car and take the short trip to visit.

Once there, take time to stroll the brick-lined walkways and soak in the historic flavor of the colonial homes, stone churches, decorated storefronts, and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The museum is a 16-acre complex of indoor and outdoor exhibits, tracing the history and traditions of the Chesapeake Bay. The museum offers an array of events throughout the year including Big Band concerts under the stars as well as a variety of festivals.

Enjoy a ride on the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, “America's Oldest Ferry,” a tour in a horse-drawn carriage or a cruise in a working, sail-powered skipjack. Many entertainment options abound in the area, adding to your experience.

3-day 26th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Festival in St. Michaels, MD. 130 boats on land and in the water, 70 vendors, Nautical Flea Market, Field of Dreams Boats for Sale, full day of Free Seminars, Kids activities from preschoolers to young adults; all on the 17 acres of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Maryland.

Antique and Classic Boat Show Festival of wood, fiberglass, and metal boats.

The Arts at Navy Point is a show within the show of 70 vendors of all related in some way to boats, the water, or its surroundings. Juried fine artists and artisans, including painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, and model makers antiques, clothing and home furnishings, boat builders, boat restorers, rope vendors, and hard-to-find parts.

July 6th- Fireworks and Big Band NIght

Come hear jazzy big band sounds come alive on the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum's Tolchester Beach Bandstand. Stay into the evening to enjoy the St. Michaels fireworks over the Miles River. Fee - $10, $5 CBMM members.  Fireworks sponsored by the Drew Landis Memorial Fireworks Fund, Inc. (501c) with support by town merchants and residents.
